What was your reaction when the movie was first offered to you?
I know Anjali before she started making movies. We have been working closely for the past few years and she has been constantly talking about pregnancy. She used to ask me if I am planning to have a baby. Suddenly, one day she came up with this storyline and when I read the thread of the story, I told her that it's wonderful and she should make a series out of it. I have played a pregnant woman earlier in my films, but rarely dealt into the details of it, both from women's point of view and that of men's. It's also not about the child but more about the adults who go through the process.
How was your experience of working with so many actresses in one movie?
It was exciting for me as an actor because Nithya, Parvathy and me, we started our careers around the same time and wanted to work together. I have done a few multi-cast films earlier, but it's rare when all of them are protagonist. Another rarity is to have so many female colleagues together. So, both as an actor and as someome who loves to see great stories, this was a creative and a unique experience. We all spiritually connected as actors and that's very important.
Tell us something about your upcoming projects...
I have three releases coming up, but I cannot talk about it. But, they all are very exciting projects. One of them is a pan-India film, one is Tamil, and the another one is Hindi-English.
