MUMBAI : Actor Sahil Mehta is all set for his upcoming web series Tabbar which will premiere on SonyLIV. The show ever since the trailer was out has been the talk of the town and the fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere date which is 15th October. This show has Pavan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Gagan Arora, Paramvir Cheema, Kanwaljit Singh, Ranvir Shorey along with actor Sahil Sharma. 

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Sahil Mehta with regard to his acting journey and his show Tabbar where he also spoke in detail about types of characters he looks forward to doing on digital platforms.

The actor says Tabbar is indeed one of its kinds of thrillers, which shows the importance of the family. As the title suggests Tabbar which means family, and how far a person can go for his family is shown in this web series. The actor will be seen playing the son of Pawan Malhotra, and how after a certain incident the life of every family member changes is something amazingly shown in the series.  Throwing some light on the bond he had shared with Pawan Malhotra and Supriya Pathak, Sahil says that Pawan Malhotra made him and Gagan Arora very much comfortable and it was because of the comfort level they share with Pawan Malhotra the scenes between them had turned out amazingly well. Sahil also says that working with Pawan Malhotra and Supriya Pathak is like a learning experience for any actor. It was a fun process collaborating with such talented people.

Sahil Mehta on his acting journey 

The actor who belongs from Delhi, gradually developed love for acting since he has been doing the school dramas and plays and later he was associated with theatres to polish his acting skills. Later the actor thought of giving it a try in the acting industry and right from his debut project there was no looking back for him. We have seen some amazing work coming from the actor with the projects like Made in Heaven, Sofa So Good, Guilty and now Tabbar. 

Sahil Mehta on types of characters he looks forward to do on digital platform 

Sahil Mehta says that Tabbar is one of such characters which he was eagerly looking forward to doing, having said that he looks forward to playing different characters as he is very hungry as an actor. Pointing out, the actor says that he would love to do comedy characters and also somewhat he would love to play intense characters on digital platforms.
