MUMBAI : Alpana Buch is a talented actress.
She has been a part of numerous theatre plays, television shows and is currently a part of Anupamaa on Star Plus where she is seen as an unconventional mother-in-law. She is also seen in the Raveena Tandon starrer OTT series titled Karmma Calling on Disney+Hotstar and seems like she is ecstatic on being a part of the project.
In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Alpana opened up on her experience shooting for the show.
Alpana shared, “When the audition came to me, I was not clear about the character and I just knew that it would be something about a tarot reader or a healer. I have always been fascinated with such roles. When I told my daughter about it, she told me that this role was a misfit for me. It is then that I thought that I will take this role as a challenge. I would like to thank my director Ruchi Narain as she changed my look completely. I had never worn a wig before and there were so many elements added to my look which made me stand out from what I have done in the past.
I have a sweet looking face and the character requirement was otherwise. While shooting I did not realize but when I actually saw the entire series, I was astonished! I give complete credit for this to my director Ruchi.”
