MUMBAI :Actor Manav Soneji has been winning the hearts of the fans over the time with his acting. The actor was seen and loved in the TV shows like Anandibaa Aur Emily, Kaatelal & Sons, Mere Sai, Akbar, Tedi Medhi Family, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai, AdhaFULL, Gumraah 5 and Amazon Mini Tv's web series Crime Aaj Kal. He is now set to feature in light-hearted comedy web series School Friends on Amazon Mini TV.
During an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actor Manav Soneji spoke about his show School Friends and also on what made him agree to be a part it.
What do you have to say about your character?
“It's a comic and fun loving character who is always laughing and cracking jokes around. He loves his friends and is a kind hearted person. I love playing comic characters as I am very comfortable with it”.
What made you agree to the show?
“The character itself! Casting director Dimple Mewara ma'am called me. While reading the script, I knew I have to crack it somehow because I loved the character! Our director, Sahil Verma sir wanted me to cut my hair. My hair was long before, so I had to cut my hair way too short for this one”.

How was the shoot experience and location covered?
“It was really fun working with our Director Sahil Verma sir and the whole team. We actually felt like our school days are back! But, at a point, I missed my school and school friends while shooting. I remember, it was our farewell and I was the first person to cry because I knew no one is going to meet again after. I was right! It's sad. While growing up, we don't even know where our school friends are. Maybe, that's life. It's always a blessing to work with such a wonderful team. I will always be thankful to Sahil Verma sir, Dimple Mewara ma'am and Rusk Media for giving me this opportunity and trusting me for one of the leads”.
