MUMBAI: Known for her powerful roles, actress Vidya Balan never fails to impress the fans with her amazing characters and movies. No doubt it is always a treat to watch the actress on screen. Over the time, the actress made her strong mark in the hearts and minds of the fans. And now she is all set to be seen in another mind blowing project titled Sherni, which is all set for its digital release. The actress will be seen in the role of a forest officer who is in search of the Tiger.

Team Sherni had a virtual press conference today where the filmmakers and the actors shared their excitement while shooting the movie, actress Vidya Balan who is all set to be seen in a completely different avatar shared her experience on working on this project. On asking about the special preparations she did for this movie and this character, the actress said that as she is playing the role of a forest officer, she had met many female forest officers to know more about them, the actress also said that she had many questions for them and they were very helpful and answered her every question.

The actress further said, it was quite challenging to soak into their characters, the actress also had many interactions with them to know more about their passion, she also said that she went to many forest fields with them for the ground knowledge. The actress also read many materials on paper and on the internet with regards to the forest officer.

No doubt the actress always comes up with something different with her every movie, and surely it will be a treat to watch the actress as a forest officer in the movie Sherni.

Sherni will also have Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala and Neeraj Kabi, laong with the actress, and it is all set for its digital release on 18 June on Amazon Prime video.
