MUMBAI: Amazon Prime’s much-awaited series “Paatal Lok”, produced by Bollywood diva Anushka Shamra, finally hit the streaming platform this Friday. The series has received a lot of appreciation upon its release and garnered a lot of love from the audiences and also from the Bollywood celebs. 

In fact, the series has become the talk of the town because of the actors’ powerful acting, great storytelling and strong screenplay which is making the series outstanding and worth watching. 

Jagjeet Sandhu who played the pivotal role of one of the gangsters named Chaku Singh in the series is garnering a lot of love for his performance. 

Team TellyChakkar got a chance to speak with the actor. When asked what made him go ahead with this role, he said that he always wanted to do different types of roles. He said he was doing movies in Punjab and for him this was new and different opportunity after Leila and he loved the character and he believes that it is not the length of the character he sees but the depth of the character which motivates him to choose his roles.

He added that Chaku Singh has very little to offer in this series but at the same time he is very much important to the story and without whom the series would not move ahead. 

When asked if he faced any sort of pressure while shooting for this series as this was relatively a big and pivotal role of his career, the actor said that there was nothing such as pressure. He said he was very much excited to deliver something he had never done before and was looking forward to it. 

The actor said he would love to do many such roles keeping audiences' reactions in mind.
