MUMBAI: The impending masterpiece of Prabhas, Kalki 2898 AD, is becoming more and more magnificent by the day. Undoubtedly one of the biggest releases of the year is the forthcoming sci-fi dystopian action movie, directed by Nag Ashwin. Several of our nation's biggest stars are included in the ensemble cast of the film. In addition to Prabhas, the movie stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in significant parts.

The producers of the upcoming pan-Indian film have chosen to give fans a unique animated version of Kalk 2898 AD considering the excitement around it.
Kalki 2898 AD is set against the backdrop of Indian mythology, and looks to be a spectacular film. The film, which will have a direct-to-digital premiere on a major streaming company ahead of its theatrical release, will feature a special animation prelude released by filmmaker Nag Ashwin and producer Vyjayanthi Movies, according to a popular news portal report.
The prelude will basically offer a sneak peek into the massive cinematic world of the Prabhas-starrer. "The prelude to Kalki will basically give the audience a glimpse into the world of this Nag Ashwin directorial. It's a one-of-its-kind extended video in the animated format, wherein Prabhas himself has dubbed for his character," a source told the portal popular news portal.
"The output of animation is also at par with the best in the world. The exact timelines for the release of Kalki Animated Prelude have been kept under wraps for now, but the makers are set to create history by one-of-a-kind campaigns," the source added.
The movie Kalki 2898 AD is slated to open in theaters on May 9, 2024! However, according to a popular news portal story, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections may cause the sci-fi thriller's release date to be pushed back. As of yet, there is no formal notification.
