MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji.  

The audience has given it a thumbs-up.  

Kangana Ranaut made her OTT debut on the show as a host. She guides the contestants. The entire concept is a setup in jail.

Sara Khan has been a part of it since the show started, and she has been the favourite of the audiences.  

But a few days back, she was suddenly evicted from the show, and her fans were disheartened.

Post her eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about her friendship with Shivam and why her game dropped all of a sudden.

The audience loved your chemistry with Shivam Sharma. What do you have to say about your friendship? 

Everyone has seen the show and knows what the relationship is like. The feelings and the friendship were real. It was true friendship from my side, though I respect his feelings. He is genuinely a very good human being, but I didn't feel the same way he did. We are great friends, and I will make sure to maintain this friendship.

Any secrets that the contestants revealed that were shocking for you? 

No secrets should be shocking. It is not easy to tell another person, and that’s why it's called a “secret.” Some want to forget it, so no one can define a secret as shocking as it is a situation in which a person has been.

Don’t you think you should have played the game and not let Ali’s entry affect it? 

The situation inside and outside the jail premises are very different. It is very easy for people to comment from the outside, but to live with it inside the house is not easy. That time, a decision has to be taken, and the least I could do is not give importance to that person as it was 12 years ago. He always wanted to talk to me. It was irritating, and that is why my game dropped. 

Well, no doubt that Sara was a good player, but unfortunately, she was evicted.
