MUMBAI: Manoj Bajpayee’s daughter didn’t recognise him in The Family Man, fan-girled over Sharib Hashmi instead.
During the press conference at the trailer launch of The Family Man 3, Manoj Bajpayee shared a hilarious moment involving his daughter, Ava Nayla.
The actor revealed that while his daughter is a huge fan of the series, she was far more excited about Sharib Hashmi, who plays JK Talpade, than her own father.

Manoj recalled that after watching the first season, he asked his daughter how she liked it. She simply said, “Yeah, it’s good,” without even acknowledging that her father was the lead character.
But the funniest moment came a day later, when she suddenly screamed for him to come to the gate. When Manoj rushed outside, she pointed excitedly and yelled, “JK is here, papa! JK is here,” spotting Sharib Hashmi near their house.
The Family Man 3, directed by Raj and DK, brings back Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari in a high-stakes thriller. This time, the story follows Srikant on the run with his family after being declared the “most wanted man” in the country.
