MUMBAI: We have seen movies like Pyaasa, Bareily Ki Barfi and Udaan where the writer takes the centre stage and it’s not just about the story they write but their life becomes a story of focus. We get to see the imperfect world of a writer and it holds a lot of twists and turns than what we expect. In 2022 we had witnessed Mithya starring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dasani, taking us on a thrilling journey and once again they are here to take us on a ride that goes deeper into secrets which are just unexpected.
Well, talking firstly about the performances, Avantika Dasani and Huma Qureshi surely take the centre stage and we must say, Avantika Dasani is sure to keep us all hooked but that’s not all. Naveen Kasturia, Rushad Rana, Rajit Kapur and many other actors can be seen contributing to the growing intensity of the storyline right from the beginning. Huma Qureshi’s performance is great but it would have been better had the character allowed her to do so.
Director Kapil Sharma has done a great job of trying to capture the magic that we so loved in the first season. However, when talking about maintaining the intensity with twists and turns or even cliffhangers, well, the writers slightly missed a mark as compared to the first season. Meanwhile, the BGM does a great job of creating intrigue.
As the story continues further and further, we are sure it would pull the audience right at the edge of their seat.
