MUMBAI: After being a part of several famous shows like Naagin, Piya Basanti Re, and many more, Adaa Khan has now acquired some space in OTT with her new show, Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal, where she is sharing the screen with Nishant Malkani. Fans are delighted to see her debuting online, on Hungama Play. Right from the beginning of her entertainment journey in 2009, she hasn’t made the viewers of her show regret their decision.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, she spoke about a few things that she learnt from the sets of her new mini TV series about life as well as acting.

1.How has your experience been about working with your co-stars on Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal?

I think that working with co-stars makes one realize about their negative as well as positive qualities on and off the set. However, I would like to absorb all of their good qualities so that I can learn little bit from them and implement it. 

2.Nowadays, actors are readily available on social media, where it is easy for them to provide positive and negative feedbacks, which apparently turn into trolls. So, how do you take those feedbacks?

Everything that we do, requires a lot of hard work. I respect all types of feedbacks, whether they are positive or constructive. Feedbacks are opinions of people and they can’t be stopped from expressing what they feel. So, I stay prepared since the very beginning for all types of feedback as every actor faces rejection at least once in their life. I accept negative feedbacks and grow accordingly. The thing is that for a past few years, negative feedbacks look more like trolls. All I want to say is that people should not be disrespected. Whenever I get trolled in such a way, I simply ignore it.

3.What is your take from the show and what do you expect going forward?

Firstly, I am overwhelmed with all the beautiful messages that I have received from fans. Secondly, I want to tell everyone to watch the show and pass on the word to friends and family. And most importantly, they should let us know about their opinions.
