MUMBAI: Madhuri Dixit Nene was present to launch the trailer of the upcoming web series The Fame Game. During the press conference, Madhuri Dixit was questioned about what made her say yes to The Fame Game web series. The actress revealed the first obvious reason to say yes to the project was that she loved the script very much. She loved Anamika’s journey to fame.  And it is about the fame and what complication it brings along with it to her life.

She further adds It is the journey of this woman whose life seems to be perfect till she disappears one day and everyone is wondering what happened to her, where is she and to what she changes to, do people know her. All these things, I felt are very intriguing. There is a mystery and there is family drama as well. How everything unravels and unfolds. That really fascinated me and that's why I said yes to the web series.

The actress was further questioned about what research she did before playing the character and what are the similarities between them.  Madhuri said that not everybody lives life like Anamika and not everybody lives my life. My life will be different from your life and vice versa. Everybody has different experiences in their life. And I thank god that all the experiences I had were wonderful. The people I met were wonderful, my parents are like a force that always stands by me. 

She further said, ‘Well that is not the case with Anamika, She has a very different life. The way she grew up, the way her relationship is with her mother. So there is a lot of similarity between her and me like we both are very big stars. Those are the similarities but there are also dissimilarities between us. The way she sees fame and I see fame is very different. And that’s why this is the fame game. Fame is the treasuries path which depends on how you look at it, how you treat the fame.  That’s what you will find out in this web series.’
