MUMBAI:Jad Hadid rose to fame with his stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where his game was liked by the audience. Hence, he survived the game for seven weeks.
He grabbed headlines for his kiss with Akanksha Puri and his closeness with Jiya Shankar. But the UAE model did not get along with everyone in the house, including Bebika, with whom he had a tiff at the beginning of the show.
He was also pulled by Salman Khan during the “Weekend Ka Vaar” for his behaviour with Bebika. He then apologized and was back in the game.
Finally, he was evicted owing to fewer votes, just a week before the finale. Hence, he couldn’t be a finalist of the show.
Post his eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with Jad and asked him about his views on Salman Khan lashing out at him and does he really want to marry Akanksha Puri.
There were some of the contestants who said that you were flirting with them and touching them inappropriately, what do you have to say that?
I never touched anyone in inappropriately. It’s just that I am the kind of person who likes to give everyone a warm hug and make friends. When I hugged Avinash, no one is asked me about it or made a fuss, then why with the girls?
You were ready to marry Akanksha Puri, what do you have to say about it?
I only flirted with her and why wouldn’t I want to marry her? Have you looked at her? I would be waiting for that to happen! I was that smitten by her.
The audience feel that Bigg Boss is biased toward Pooja and Bebika, what do you think about it ?
The fact is, Pooja and Bebika are very close friends. But that doesn’t mean that Pooja is biased against her or that the makers are biased to her. She respects her and wants to help her. Pooja gives back to her as well, but it doesn’t happen like that. What we go through in the house, no one would know.
When Salman Khan lashed out at you, you did handle things with dignity, how did you feel?
I had done something wrong and hence, he picked on me. He did guide me whenever I was wrong and made me understand. He was honest with me and his criticism was positive. If you want to succeed in something, you have to be open to criticism.
Well, there is no doubt that Jad was a good player on Bigg Boss and the audience liked him. Hence, he came this far. It’s unfortunate that he got evicted just a week before the finale.
