Exclusive! Jiya Shankar talks about the nasty things that Pooja Bhatt told her, says, "the things she said was very disturbing and for what, because I act like a child?"

MUMBAI: Actress Jiya Shankar is a well-known name in the television industry.

The stunning actress has appeared in several hit TV shows in her long career span.

After trying her hands at different kinds of roles, Jiya has made her debut in the country's most popular reality show.

She was seen as a contestant in the Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and the fans were excited to see her on the show.

Her game was liked by the audience and she was seen as one of the strongest contestants of the show.

But unfortunately, she was eliminated, owing to fewer votes, just three days before the finale and her fans were left heartbroken.

She was known for her friendship with Abhishek and on this show and she did confess her feelings for him. She said that she did like him. Fans named them #Abhiya, which keeps trending on social media.

The actress was also close to Elvish Yadav in the last two–three weeks and their friendship was also liked in the Bigg Boss house.

Now, post her eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what she has to say about the things that Pooja Bhatt told her and about Avinash not wanting to keep in touch with her.

Avinash Sachdeva said that you never showed your real side on the show and that he doesn't want to ever meet you?

Thank You, Avinash and I request you to not contact me. It was nice meeting you and it was good to know you what you were. The audience saw how easily you speak about someone's character, to put the blame on someone else to prove them wrong. It was a good try, but the audience did get to know your truth and hence, the results are in front of you.

Pooja Bhatt called you the "Poison" of the house. What do you have to say about it?

When I had to give her back and stand in front of her, I did it in the house. I am not scared of her, but I do respect her. I have taken a stand, but haven't crossed any limits. I haven't been disrespectful and didn't tell her things. I took a stand for myself and just told her that she is has double standards. So, whatever I had to tell her, I did in a respectful way. But, she turned back and said many things, like I wouldn't get work in the industry, so on and so forth. 

When she lashed out at you, how did you take all that?

It was very disturbing. Who will support me? What was the reason? Because I speak like a child? That's the way I am, why should I change? 

Well, there is no doubt that Jiya's eviction in the show came as a shock to the audience and fans as they wanted to see her in the finale.
