MUMBAI: Independence day is round the corner and the feeling of nationalism among citizens tends to rise up. Amidst this patriotic feeling, we have Amazon mini TV bringing Rakshak – India’s Braves releasing on 11th August.

This will be the 1st part of the 3 part series. This chapter revolves around the story of Lieutenant Triveni Singh, who was an officer of the Indian Army from 5 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra Award for his bravery in the terrorist attack on Jammu Railway Station on January 2, 2004.

The trailer of the series was released on 10th August and is based on the terrorist attacks which took place at Jammu Railway Station on 2nd January, 2004. It shows the story of Lt. Triveni Singh, the man who sacrificed his life to save over 300 people, who got caught in the attack at the Jammu Railway Station. The trailer starts with some hard hitting dialogues from terrorists. It moves forward by showing the life of Lt. Triveni Singh. The trailer shows his love life developing and the war incoming. The development of action is definitely something to look out for.

Directed by Akshay Choubey, produced by Samar Khan and Aditya Pittie under the banner of Juggernaut Production, Rakshak stars Varun Mitra, Kanika Mann, Mrinal Naval, Mrinal Kulkarni and Mohit Chauhan. The series is surely going to be an action packed drama, spreading the pride of the Indian Army to every Indian’s heart. It surely is going to bring out different emotions from the audience as there will be love, drama, action, war and sacrifices. With all these elements, emotions will sure be pouring down the lane. The series will be streaming from 11th October and will be available on Amazon Mini TV, available in the Amazon shopping app.
