MUMBAI: Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina have found themselves in a lot of trouble for their latest episode of India’s Got Latent where Ranveer’s question to a contestant led to a huge controversy. As a result, there were some FIRs filed against Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia.
While Samay Raina’s show has been a part of discussion since its inception, it always became a buzz for its offensive and below-the-belt comedy. Audiences who loved Dark comedy, also had a liking towards the show but despite of that, everyone had their opinion of what they liked about the show and what they disliked.
Ranveer Allahbadia, who established the trend of podcasts on Youtube, made his entry on the show and it was very promsing for the audience but things turned out unexpectedly troublesome after it went on-air as Ranveer was seen questioning a contestant whether they would rather watch their parents have sex for the rest of their life or join them once and put a stop to it.
This came out as a huge shocker to the audience as it goes against the image that he has on his podcast.
Tellychakkar got in touch with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Hitesh Bharadwaj who played the role of Rajat Thakkar. When asked about his opinion on the Ranveer Allahbadia controversy, Hitesh Bharadwaj gave a pretty interesting answer.
The actor said, “Yeh ek bohot bada discussion ka point hai yeh, matlab main honestly bolunga aapko yeh discussion ka point isiliye hai kyu ki isiliye censor board banaya gaya hai...because aap kitna bol sakte ho, aap kshamtaei kitni hai, aap kya bolna chahte ho, aapke kis tarah se bolna chahte ho ur kyu bolna chahte ho, uska purpose kya hai. Main apne art form ko bohot different tareeke se dekhta hu but main bohot honestly bolunga ki agar aap iss tarah ka content Youtube par lekar aa rahe hai toh aapko nahi pata hota na ki aap kitna bolenge, kya bolenge, kahaan rukna hai, kahaan nahi rukna hai aur kahaan rukna chahiye, but of course yaar, it’s very sad.”
He also pointed out a crucial later, saying, “...most importantly, jaisa maine kahan, I’m choosing my work accordingly. Meri audience hai. See agar aap Samay Raina ko dekhoge, main khud Samay ko pasand karta hu, mujhe acha lagta hai. Uska Sense of humor bohot acha hai...lekin agar aap Ranveer ki baat karoge toh uski apni ek set audience hai. Agar woh iss tarah se kaam kar rahe hai, uski audience ko acha nahi laga na? Important kya hai? Important yeh nahi hai mujhe acha nahi laga...uske fans ko acha nahi laga. Mere acha lagne se fark nahi padta, ya mera comment daloge usse bhi fark nahu padta. Most important thing is ki uske hi fans ko acha nahi laga”
Hitesh Bharadwaj who gained recognition after his stint in the popular Colors TV show Udaariyaan, garnered even more love and attention from his fans after his impressive performance in one of the most popular TV shows Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
