MUMBAI: Bollywood’s most dependable hitmakers Sachin–Jigar are on a roll, and their latest album Param Sundari proves why they’re at the top of the game right now.
With Param Sundari, Sachin-Jigar have not just given the film its heartbeat, they’ve delivered an album that stands tall on its own — a rare, cohesive soundtrack that has audiences dancing, sighing, and falling in love in equal measure.
The six-track album is proof that Sachin–Jigar are on a remarkable run. From their folk-inspired romantic gems in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and the rousing hooks of Stree 2, to their knack for creating chartbusters like Apna Bana Le, the duo have built a reputation for being today’s most dependable and inventive composers. Param Sundari doesn’t just add to that streak — it amplifies it.
The record opens with Bheegi Saree, where Shreya Ghoshal and Adnan Sami drench listeners in nostalgia, resurrecting the magic of 90s monsoon ballads but polishing it for a 2025 ear. If that sets the dreamlike tone, Pardesiya cements the album’s emotional core. Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali Saha’s tenderly rendition has quickly become the centerpiece of the album, dominating playlists and trending charts, with critics calling it “the emotional backbone of the film.”
But Sachin–Jigar refuse to be typecast. They flip the mood with Danger — Vishal Dadlani and Parvati Meenakshi’s explosive EDM-powered banger that proves the duo’s comfort with modern beats and experimentation. Just as easily, they pivot back to intimacy with Sunn Mere Yaar Ve, a stripped-down ballad by Aditya Rikhari that resonates especially with younger listeners.
Chand Kagaz Ka, sung by Vishal Mishra, adds a haunting fragility to the record, while Sundari Ke Pyar Mein ties the album together with charm, levity, and the kind of breezy hook that makes a soundtrack timeless.
Riding the Success Bandwagon
Media reviews have been unanimous: Param Sundari’s music is the film’s true star. From “the emotional backbone of the film” to “six bangers, each more potent and heady than the other,” critics are calling it one of the best Bollywood soundtracks in recent years. Songs like Pardesiya, Bheegi Saree, and Danger are already chartbusters, while the title track Sundari Ke Pyar Mein is ruling dance playlists.
What makes this album significant is how it reflects Sachin–Jigar’s ongoing rise. They’ve become the composers who can balance nostalgia with innovation, intimacy with grandeur, and Bollywood’s romantic heart with a global sound.
Speaking about the album, Sachin–Jigar shared, “For us, every song in Param Sundari was like painting a different mood on the same canvas. With Bheegi Saree we wanted to revive the nostalgia of rains, with Pardesiya we allowed ourselves to melt into longing, while Danger was our chance to let loose and go full throttle on energy. What makes us happiest is seeing people connect to each song differently—some dance, some cry, some fall in love again. That’s the power of music, isn’t it? You don’t just listen to it, you live it.”
Param Sundari isn’t just another soundtrack; it’s proof that Sachin–Jigar are at the peak of their game, riding a wave of creativity and success that shows no signs of slowing down. With this album, they haven’t just composed music — they’ve captured a moment in Bollywood soundscape history.
