MUMBAI: Sony Liv has always treated the viewers with the finest of content, and that we have seen throughout the lockdown, right from thriller series Your Honor, to web movie Kadakh, and from Undekhi to Scam 1992, the hub has always been a treat for all, and now the platform is all set to say goodbye to the year 2020 with an amazing series titled “Sandwiched Forever”, a situational Comedy series launching on 25th December.
The 15-episodic sitcom is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Studio Next, Sandwiched Forever stars Aahana Kumra and Kunaal Roy Kapur in the lead, along with Zakir Hussain, Divya Seth Shah, Atul Kulkarni and Lubna Salim amongst others. And the show is written by The Kapil Sharma Show fame Bharat Kukreti.
The story speaks about the newlyweds Sameer and Naina who buy a flat adjoining to Naina’s parents, later Sameer’s parents also end up becoming their neighbors soon after. And as we see from the trailer the in-laws start dictating every single thing about their house and this calls for trouble for the couple with a lot of hilarious moments.
Today the cast and the makers of the show interacted with the media virtually in a press webinar, where actress Aahana Kumra shares her excitement on been part of this mad sitcom and said it was great shooting with such an amazing cast and of course all the necessary precautions were taken and it was a fun journey shooting this series and adding to her point actor Kunal Roy Kapoor revealed his character Sameer is very much similar to him, and he too had great fun experiences during the process of the shoot in spite of all the challenges on sets amid Covid situation.

Well, this looks really interesting and no doubt Sonyliv and the makers of Sandwiched Forever are all set to take us to the hilarious rollercoaster ride of a SitCom.
