MUMBAI: ZEE5 has some amazing content lined up for the audiences during the present lockdown period. The OTT platform has launched a short film festival. About 9 short films were released on 15th April 2020, one of which was Svah So Be It.

Svah stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, the actress who made a special place in the hearts of the audience with a strong performance in Mirzapur.

Alongside Shriya, we see Rajit Kapoor and Shilpa Tulaskar in this short movie.

The film starts with a happy family where we see Asawari (Shriya Pilgaonkar), the daughter of the family, having a great day with her mother (Shilpa Tulaskar) and father.

Later on the same evening, there are some special guests who are coming to see the family. Asawari's boyfriend is coming with his family to talk about his marriage with her.

Throughout, we see both the families having a good time with each other. They gel well, but there is a twist. Asawari feels incomplete and like something is missing from what is happening in her life. What she does later is a treat to watch.

Director Gauri Daswani has nailed it when it comes to the detailing of the family. The direction is superb, and the short film is worth a watch for the love and respect we should give to our family but do not. It touches your heart and makes you feel good.

Talking about the performances, Shriya has done an amazing job and steals the show. Rajit Kapoor as the cunning father of the boy has done a good job, whereas Shilpa Tulaskar is fairly good.

Svah is a treat to watch during the quarantine. You can watch it with your family members.
