MUMBAI: This year has been quite a roller coaster with more ups than downs for most people, as the joy of laughter has been forgotten by many people. In such times comedians and performers have come to our aid and provided us with some much-needed giggles even if they were just momentary, so for all the people out there, Vir Das has announced that he is going to bring another unique stand up special called ‘Outside In’ to Netflix.

Vir Das is one of the most respected comedians in India, and this addition will take his tally up to 4 standup specials on the digital platform. The unique thing about this comedy special is that Vir Das shot this during the lockdown entirely from the confines of his home.

In this special he met people from different corners of the world virtually from the confines of his home to spread a little laughter and joy. This year has been pretty decent in terms of work for Vir as he started the year with a special and ended it with one too.

His brand of intellectual comedy is something very few people can recreate on stage, and even though this may not be the best takeaway but with every special his set designs just seem to get better and better. How the whole set was created to cater to a specific theme in Vir Das for India was terrific, and so were the visuals effects throughout the show.

Every streaming platform has been trying to get on the bandwagon to bring more and more mainstream comedians on their platform and right now Vir Das is having the time of his life with his 4th Netflix comedy special which will stream on 16th December.
