The series is the brainchild of Dhanwanthary, who played the role of Zoya in Amazon Prime Videos’s The Family Man. She is making her directorial debut with this project. The web series features Amol Parashar, Sunny Hinduja, Aishwarya Choudhary, Sharid Hashmi, Aritro Banerjee, and Mohit Raina, among others. It revolves around a social media influencer, played by Dhanwanthary, who refuses to cancel her wedding during the lock-down.

The recently released trailer showcases the chaos which occurs when Nisha (Dhanwanthary) and Rishabh (Parashar) try to organize their online wedding.

There is an abundance of hilarious situations with all the improvised preparations going on. However, things get serious when Nisha’s father tests positive for the virus.

Parashar took to Instagram to announce the series as well as share the first poster of A Viral Wedding.

Have a look.

According to the creators, A Viral Wedding is 'first of its kind' and was 'conceptualized, shot, created, edited and put together entirely during this lock-down'.

Dhanwanthary talked about the concept of the series and said:

It is a journey from that day onwards. You will have to see whether the wedding happens or not. The decision taken by the PM about lockdown seemed like an interesting idea to explore. I was sure I want to do this in a light-hearted way because there is so much more happening. It is an attempt to make people smile.

She also shared the second poster of A Viral Wedding on Instagram. Check it out.
