MUMBAI: Indraneil Sengupta has been a part of various television shows and even films.
He is a talented actor and Tellychakkar.com was the first one to report about Indraneil being roped in for DON Cinema’s In Cold Blood. In an exclusive conversation with us, the actor opened up on working in the digital space and his experience shooting for television shows.
Indraneil shared, “In terms of content OTT explores different concepts, stories and characters so for an actor the digital space is kind of a rewarding experience. In terms of characters, the television medium has a defined system where there is a hero, heroine and villain or the vamp. Television is also venturing into different concepts, stories and is also venturing into different age groups but television has a clear definition of certain things. So I think OTT medium provides a space which is not always black and white. In the OTT space there is also a grey space. On television, the hero is always the good person and the villain is always bad but I feel the OTT or the cinema space keeps it more real where the complexities are more which is rewarding for an actor to perform.
