It has been a while that we reported about popular actors Anurag Sharma, Suhita Thatte, Gyan Prakash, Vikram Gokhale, Subodh Bhave, Girija Oak and Yatin Karyekar being roped in for Hotstar’s Adi Shankaracharya.

Now according to our sources Yashodhan Rana, who is popularly known for playing the lead role in Wo Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki of Rajshri Productions, Crime Patrol, Vishnu Puran, and innumerable others has been roped into play an important role in Hotstar's show Adi Shankaracharya.
The project has been in the pipeline for quite some time now. However, we hear that finally the project is on the floor and apparently the cast is expected to shoot some parts in beautiful locales of Kerala.
