Hum Aapke Hain Kaun starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit is one film that gave people a reason to flock theaters in hordes at a time when single screen cinema halls ruled the roost. Madhuri Dixit’s salary was quoted at Rs. 27,535,729 making her the highest paid actress in Bollywood then. 2. The movie had 14 songs in all. 3. It was the first Indian film to earn more than one billion rupees at a time when inflation was at its best. 4. The late painter MF Hussain watched the movie more than 50 times. 5. The film was dubbed in Telugu and released as Premalayam. 6. The movie has a running time of 206 minutes. 7. Lata Mangeshkar sang more than 10 songs in the movie. She accepted the Filmfare Special Award that year for "Didi Tera Devar Deewana" on public demand. 8. The movie received nine Filmfare nominations and won five of them. 9. Didi Tera Devar Deewana is one of the longest songs of Hindi cinema with a running time of 8.01 minutes. 10. Hum Aapke Hain Koun along with DDLJ increased the attendance of cinema goers in India by 40%.
