MUMBAI: After PadMan, Twinkle Khanna is all set to bring out social awareness around menstruation with her short film First Period. The short film will talk about the first period from a boy’s perspective, in whose world women don’t exist.
This will be Twinkle’s another creation in the wake of delivering PadMan which voiced out a critical point of menstrual cleanliness.

The movie is composed and co-ordinated by Mozez Singh, who made the film Zubaan. On account of Menstrual Hygiene Day, a glimpse of the film was released on 28 May.
While working on the film, the producer chose to take Twinkle's input as he believes that she is largely responsible for making menstrual hygiene a topic of conversation with her books and films.
