MUMBAI: Ahaan Panday, one of India’s fastest-rising Gen Z stars, is set to celebrate his birthday very differently this year by kicking off an intensive 60-day action training program for his next film with director Ali Abbas Zafar under Yash Raj Films.
The young actor, who delivered the record-breaking romantic blockbuster Saiyaara, is now stepping into a high-octane action-romance avatar opposite Sharvari.
According to a source close to the production, “Ahaan will need over 60 days of action training to perfect the raw, powerful action Ali wants to showcase on screen. The start date just happens to fall on his birthday, so he’s diving straight into work with no day off.”

The training will include multiple combat styles, body transformation, and complex stunt rehearsals crafted specifically to give Ahaan an unforgettable cinematic presence.
The source adds, “Ahaan has to look like a brute force of nature when he unleashes his action avatar. Ali is guiding him personally, unlocking something audiences won’t expect. He wants to present Ahaan in a jaw-dropping way.”
Fans and industry insiders are already drawing comparisons between Ahaan’s rise and Hrithik Roshan’s iconic debut era.
At just 27, Ahaan has already delivered the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema, with Saiyaara crossing 560+ crore worldwide, cementing him as one of the most promising young stars.
His massive youth fanbase has played a huge role in his swift popularity, and the anticipation for his second film is sky-high.
