MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a deeply impactful appearance at the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, where she delivered a stirring speech focused on humanity, unity, and love.
The event, held on Wednesday, drew major public attention due to the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, prominent dignitaries, and well-known personalities from sports, politics, and film.
In a video widely circulating online, Aishwarya is seen expressing her gratitude to PM Modi for gracing the occasion. She paid her heartfelt tributes to Sri Sathya Sai Baba, speaking warmly about his teachings and the values he encouraged people to live by.
Recalling the famous “five D’s”—Discipline, Dedication, Devotion, Determination, and Discrimination—Aishwarya urged the audience to continue spreading compassion and moral strength in their daily lives.

Her most resonant message came when she emphasised the universality of humanity, saying, “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity.
There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent.” Her words received immense praise online, with many calling it one of her most meaningful public addresses.
Aishwarya’s personal life has often been the subject of scrutiny. She married actor Abhishek Bachchan in April 2007, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, on November 16, 2011.
Recently, rumours about tension in their marriage made headlines, especially after a series of public appearances where they were seen separately. Aishwarya’s birthday post for Aaradhya also sparked speculation as it did not include other members of the Bachchan family.
Amid these rumours, Amitabh Bachchan shared a cryptic note addressing how public speculation often distorts facts, writing, “Speculations are speculations… untruths or selected question-marked information can be a legal safeguard for those who inform, but the seed of suspected belief is sown with this most used emblem… the question mark.”
On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s acclaimed Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 (2023). The actress has not yet announced her next project, but continues to remain one of the most respected figures in Indian cinema.
Her appearance in Puttaparthi, combined with her powerful message, has once again reminded audiences why she is admired not only for her beauty and performances but also for the sincerity and grace she brings to public platforms.
