MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a graceful appearance at the birth centenary celebrations of spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, on November 19.
The event was attended by several high-profile personalities, including former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and G. Kishan Reddy, as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the event, Aishwarya delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech reflecting on the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
She stated, “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love.
There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent.” Her words resonated deeply with the audience, emphasising unity, compassion, and universal love.
After her speech, Aishwarya greeted PM Narendra Modi by touching his feet, a gesture of respect and seeking blessings.
In response, the Prime Minister placed his hand on her head and joined hands with her in a warm, symbolic gesture. Aishwarya looked radiant in a yellow ethnic outfit, paired with big statement earrings, open hair, and detailed makeup, perfectly complementing the spiritual significance of the occasion.
On the personal front, Aishwarya Rai has been married to actor Abhishek Bachchan since April 2007. The couple first met during a photoshoot in 1999 and later co-starred in Umrao Jaan (2006).
They are proud parents of their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, born in November 2011. Recently, Abhishek Bachchan won his first Filmfare Award for I Want To Talk and thanked Aishwarya and Aaradhya for their unwavering support, highlighting the family’s close bond.
Professionally, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 (2023). She has yet to announce her next cinematic venture, but her presence at spiritual and cultural events continues to captivate fans.
