MUMBAI: As Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh gear up to return with their Pyaar vs Parivaar drama on the big screens, the makers today dropped another soulful song, Aakhri Salaam that captures the pain of love lost and the weight of a final goodbye.
Composed, and penned by Sagar Bhatia and sung by Armaan Malik, Aakhri Salaam is a heart-wrenching song that makes you feel a million emotions with every word. The song showcases how Ashish and Ayesha cope with the pain of separation while trying to move on.
Talking about the song, composer and lyricist Sagar Bhatia shared, “I’ve worked on emotional tracks before, but Aakhri Salaam felt different because of the situation the protagonists find themselves in. We wanted the audience to truly feel their pain, and that emotion is what shaped the composition and lyrics. I’m grateful to Luv sir and Anshul sir for trusting me with this song.”
De De Pyaar De 2 is directed by Anshul Sharma, produced by T-Series Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar and Luv Films Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg. The film is set for a theatrical release on 14th November 2025.
