MUMBAI :As we all know, 2022 was a very tough year for the Bollywood industry. We have seen some big banners getting flopped at the box office of India. Whereas, many pan-India movies from the South have been winning the hearts of the fans and surpassing the collection of Bollywood movies.

Talking about Ajay Devgn, the actor gave 2 flops in the year 2022: Runway 34 and Thank God. These movies failed to win the hearts of the fans at the box office of India, but when his Malayalam film remake ‘Drishyam 2’ released, it received some immense love from the fans and became one of the blockbusters of 2022. Till today, it is winning the hearts of the fans in some cinema halls and on OTT platforms.

On the other hand Akshay Kumar, who has delivered 5 flops in 2022, is now all set to be seen in the upcoming movie Selfiee, which is a remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Driving Licence’. Just like the Malayalam remake Drishyam 2 saved the career of actor Ajay Devgn, do you think the remake of ‘Driving Licence’ will save the career of Akshay Kumar?

Or can we say that actor Akshay Kumar is going the Ajay Devgn way in terms of remaking Malayalam movies, as their original movies are not able to create a mark at the box office of India.
