Alia Bhatt announces engagement on Twitter

Alia Bhatt, the flavour of the season, in a shocker went on to announce her engagement with Arjun Kapoor on Twitter. Well, don’t get into frenzy as she was just talking about a press conference, promo launch of her upcoming movie, 2 States, featuring her and Arjun. Check her tweet above (in the pic). In what can be said to be a superb marketing gimmick, the tweet did make an impact and people wondered if she was indeed getting engaged in real life. The promo of 2 States, based on a novel by author Chetan Bhagat, will be out on 28 February (2014).
