MUMBAI: Alpha (2025) is shaping up to be a high-octane addition to the YRF Spy Universe, marking a bold move with its female-led storyline.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh as elite intelligence operatives navigating dangerous missions in a world rife with espionage and international intrigue.
Set against a backdrop of global conspiracies, Alpha introduces a fresh narrative dynamic, expanding the Spy Universe with a strong focus on female protagonists.
The film promises pulse-pounding action sequences, emotional depth, and a gripping storyline designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Supporting the lead cast is Bobby Deol, further adding star power to the project.
Reports suggest that Bollywood heavyweights Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan may make cameo appearances in the film, although official confirmations are yet to arrive.
Sources reveal that Aditya Chopra is keen to rope in Shah Rukh Khan for a special segment, potentially linking to Pathaan 2. With Shah Rukh already committed to King, he is reportedly considering rescheduling a few dates in November to accommodate the cameo, which may even appear as an end-credit sequence.
Similarly, YRF is exploring the possibility of bringing Salman Khan’s Tiger into the fold, with the final script still being refined to ensure maximum impact akin to his appearance in Pathaan.
Scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release, Alpha is poised to be a landmark cinematic event, blending thrilling espionage action with compelling storytelling, and promising to redefine the landscape of action cinema in India.
