Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan was to initially star in 1993's King Uncle, but he was later replaced by Jackie Shroff after he decided to quit movies and enter politics post Khuda Gawah.
In fact, all the songs from the film were recorded for Bachchan, and that’s why three of the songs were crooned by Sudesh Bhosle, who was Big B's voice back then, which had left people wondering why a base-voiced singer was used for Jackie Shroff.
