MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan has done it once again x4. Wait! We’re talking about the land deal.
When talking about the first deal, Amitabh Bachchan purchased land in Ayodhya in early 2024. The land bought is in ‘The Sarayu’ which is a 51-acre luxury mixed-use development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
It is said that the land was bought for around ₹14.5 crore and the purpose was to build a personal residence ahead of the Ram Mandir's 'Pran Prathista' ceremony.
The second investment was in May 2025, when AB senior expanded with Rs 40 CR for an additional holding of 25,000sq ft plot.
The third investment? Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust purchased a land, 54,454 square feet, which is situated 10km from the famous Ram Temple. It is said that the land might be used to build a memorial, showcasing Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s life and works.
Now, Amitabh Bachchan has made a fourth land investment in Ayodhya. According to a Hindustan Times report, he recently purchased a 25,000 sq ft plot for ₹40 crore, located near the upscale Sarayu real estate project, where he had previously invested ₹14.5 crore.
On the work front, the legendary actor gave an amazing performance in Kalki 2898 AD and after that, he was again seen in Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth. Amitabh bachchan is expected to be seen once again in another movie and this time it’s going to be a Hindi movie. We are talking about one of the most talked-about movies, Ramayana Part 1 where Amitabh Bachchan is said to be seen as Jatayu.
