Anand Kumar biopic shelved?

The proposed biopic on the globally celebrated Bihar mathematician Anand Kumar which director Anurag Basu had promised to make seems to have been set aside for more practical considerations. The Patna-based mathematician who was in constant touch with Anurag Basu and his wife says he is unable reach the director any longer. “I wish he would at least let me know if he’s doing the film or not. Anuragji came to me with the offer. He visited me in Patna several times. I also visited him in Mumbai with regard to the film. I had other offers. I ignored them. And now he seems to be ignoring me,” says the hurt and bewildered soft-spoken internationally renowned maths genius, not used to the erratic ways of the entertainment industry. May be Anurag would read this and reach out to him.
