MUMBAI: Producer/actor Boney Kapoor, actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor has passed away today, 2nd May. The time of passing was 5.45pm. Nirmal Kapoor took her last breath at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

It is reported that Nirmal Kapoor’s health was not well since a few months and had been in and out of hospital several times recently. Nirmal Kapoor had turned 90 in September, last year. Anil Kapoor had even shared a picture on his Instagram handle, wishing her a happy birthday. In the post, the caption read, “90 years of love, strength, and endless sacrifices. Your presence fills our lives with joy and positivity every day. Blessed to be your child. Happy birthday, Mummy!”
Videos of family members gathering at Anil Kapoor’s residency are surfacing online. In the videos we can see Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya along with other family members like Boney Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Boolani and many others.
Taking a closer look at the family, we know that Nirmal Kapoor was the wife of late producer Surinder Kapoor. She is also the grandmother of Sonam Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah.
For the unversed, Nirmal Kapoor is the mother-in-law of Sandeep Marwah, founder of AAFT in Noida.
