MUMBAI: After the phenomenal success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is set to return to the big screen with its much-awaited sequel, Animal Park.
Helmed once again by the maverick filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the upcoming film promises to raise the stakes even higher, plunging deeper into the dark and emotionally charged universe that captivated audiences worldwide.
While the original Animal explored a volatile father-son relationship wrapped in themes of love, rage, and redemption, Animal Park is expected to unravel the psychological aftermath of those events.

Reports suggest that Ranbir will take on a double role this time, portraying a more complex and layered character that pushes his acting prowess to new heights.
According to exclusive information obtained by TellyChakkar, Vanga plans to begin work on Animal Park soon after completing Spirit with Prabhas, which is expected to release in mid-2026.
By that time, Ranbir’s schedule will reportedly open up following his upcoming projects Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari and Love and War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
If all goes as planned, filming and post-production for Animal Park could be completed in time for a grand release between October and December 2027.
