MUMBAI: Actress Anubha Arora, who will soon be seen in the upcoming project The Bengal Files, recently opened up about the importance of friendships in the entertainment industry and how they have kept her grounded through both highs and lows. Known for her work in Power of Paanch, Anubha acknowledged that while the industry is competitive, it is still possible to form genuine bonds.
“Yes, it does get competitive at times. It’s also difficult finding friends who match your wavelength and who genuinely feel happy for you. Thankfully, I have been able to find such people who help and uplift each other,” she says.
Speaking about her closest connections, Anubha reveals that some of her Power of Paanch co-actors continue to remain special. “What I like about us is that we don’t need to pretend with each other and share a very healthy relationship,” she adds.
The actress also spoke about how her friends stood by her during a particularly tough phase in her career. “I remember once I had no work for almost one and a half years, and while casually meeting my girls, I broke down. Each one of them uplifted me, and it meant the world that they were just there to listen. Now, when they see me doing good work, they’re beyond happy and have the loudest cheer for me. That’s something I’m always grateful for,” she says, with a smile.
When asked if friendships in showbiz can truly last a lifetime, Anubha says, “I am yet to figure that out,” she admitted, reflecting on the uncertainty that often surrounds bonds in a fast-paced industry.”
