Anupam Kher to lend voice to Shakuni in Jayantilal Gada's Mahabharat

After the voiceovers of noted film artistes like Amitabh Bachchan (Bheeshma Pitamah), Vidya Balan (Draupadi), Sunny Deol (Bheem), Ajay Devgn (Arjun), Anil Kapoor (Karna) and Manoj Bajpai (Yudishtir) for his animation film Mahabharat, producer Jayantilal Gada has roped in Anupam Kher to do the voiceover for Shakuni. In his request to the producer, Kher has asked the producer to use the original sound of the dice while he dubs for his character and not to create a sound of the same with some musical instrument. Shakuni, believed to be an intelligent but a devious man, was known for masterminding the infamous game of dice in the epic Mahabharat. The producer is now frantically on the lookout for an artiste who would do voiceover for Duryodhan. As reported earlier, Gada’s unique idea of having the faces of the artistes on the characters they were giving the voice of has come through with all the related artistes agreeing to the wants of the producer.
