MUMBAI:Celebrated filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has penned an emotional appreciation post for his long-time collaborator and close friend, actor Viineet Kumar Siingh. Sharing his admiration on social media, Kashyap called Viineet “the finest actor we have in this country today” and expressed deep gratitude for their enduring 16-year partnership.
Kashyap revealed that he has probably worked with Viineet more than any other actor, highlighting the performer’s unwavering support and dedication. “He has never questioned me whenever I called him to do something for me,” the director wrote, adding that Viineet has always accepted every role no matter the size or challenge without hesitation.
The filmmaker praised Viineet’s humility and lack of need for validation, even when he is not featured prominently in trailers or is kept “hidden” for narrative reasons. “His faith in me and his faith in himself is remarkable,” Kashyap said, calling the actor both a brother and a pillar in his personal and professional life.
