MUMBAI: Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha has been together for a long time now. Recently, Ali shared how he proposed to his her, and it is all things romantic.

The actor said that he had planned a grand surprise for Richa. They jetted off to the Maldives. He planned a helicopter thing for Richa where things would be flying and probably a hundred people would have seen it. He had planned to propose to her after they returned.

While in the Maldives, he arranged for a romantic beach-side dinner with the actress. When he was sitting there in the middle of the ocean, he got carried away in the moment and ended up proposing to her there. Although it was basic, he added that it was cute.

Ali and Richa were supposed to get married last year in April. However, the pandemic and lockdown ruined their plans. They are yet to announce a new date for their wedding and are waiting for things to get better.

The actors have worked together in the ‘Fukrey’ franchise.
