Presenter Vibhu Agarwal is set to release his much-awaited film Baat Bann Gayi on 11 October a week that has two holidays in Dussehra and Eid-Ul-Azha.
Explaining the rationale for the release date, producer Sayed Asif Jah says, “The year 2013 has been Bollywood’s most successful year so far. This has had many films shifting their release dates to hit the silver screen on a suitable week. Almost every week there have been 4 to 5 new releases and in some weeks the numbers have gone to as high as ten.”
“Picking a good release date has been a big task for corporate houses and movie makers. Anil Sharma’s Singh Sahab the Great has joined this league when its release was shifted from 11 October to end-November. Incidentally, Balaji Films has postponed the release of Ragini MMS 2 from this given date thus paving way for Baat Bann Gayi to be a clear winner.”
Baat Bann Gayi is a romantic-comedy based on Shakespeare’s ‘Comedy of Errors’ enriched with the classical plot of ‘duals’, which depicts the comedy of errors when lookalike of characters encounter each other.
Baat Bann Gayi, presented by Jaypeeco India Pvt Ltd and Mr Vibhu Agarwal has been produced by Jah and Megha Agarwal and is directed by Mr Shuja Ali. The film stars Ali Fazal, Gulsan Grover, Anisa, Amrita Raichand, Razzak Khan and Akshay Singh.
