MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the perfect couple of Bollywood, who has featured together in films such as Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat but what fans are most excited about are to see Deepika and Ranveer come together as on screen husband and wife for Kabir Khan’s ’83 and also because, this is their first film together post marriage. After undergoing a training session in Dharamshala, the cast and crew of the film jetted off to England to kick-start the first schedule of the film and that is when, Deepika joined everyone.
Post England, the cast and crew shot in Mumbai and as we speak, Deepika has wrapped up her shooting for the film. And today, as the cast and crew will finally wrap up the shooting in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone is planning to throw a party for everyone to celebrate the films wrap up. According to a report in DNA, Deepika wants to celebrate the journey of the shoot of ’83 and therefore, this Chhapaak actress has personally written a letter to each and everyone from the team inviting them for the party. Deepika’s letter reads, “Member of team ’83, Over the last several months iconic moments have been relieved and memories have been etched in our hearts forever. I am beyond proud to be a part of a team that is driven by love, passion, enthusiasm and eternally grateful for your contribution. And for this, I would like to invite you to a celebration! “
Talking about the film, Ranveer Singh, will essay the role of Kapil Dev, former captain of Indian cricket team during 1983 World Cup, and besides Ranveer Singh, 83 will also star Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, Dinker Sharma, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, R Badree, Pankaj Tripathi and Zakir Hussain in key role. Besides ’83, Deepika will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak starring Vikrant Massey.
