Deepika Padukone's party at a club under NCB scanner

Report has it that Narcotics Control Bureau is set to examine the footage of Deepika Padukone's party where she allegedly asked her manager to bring hash.

MUMBAI: With her hard work and talent, Deepika Padukone has carved a path for herself in Bollywood. She is known for her acting chops, good looks and style statements. She has been a part of many films and won the hearts of the audience. However, she is now making headlines for the wrong reasons.

Well, while investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has launched a massive crackdown against the use of banned drugs in B-town. And on Tuesday, the on-going investigation took a sensational turn when Deepika’s name surfaced in a drug chat.

Sources of NCB stated that some of these chats were purportedly between Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash and one 'D', they said. Reports have it that in one of the conversations between the Cocktail actress and her manager the actress allegedly asked her manager to bring ‘hash’ to a posh club where she was partying. This exchange of messages between them took place in October 2017 on WhatsApp. And now if a report published in TOI is to be believed then the investigative agency is expected to examine the footage from the party as Deepika’s party is now under NCB scanner.

Meanwhile, the Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat fame actress has got in touch with her legal team in Delhi.
