MUMBAI: Cinema legend Dharmendra is now recuperating at home after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital earlier this week, bringing relief to millions of fans who had been deeply concerned about his health.
The 89-year-old actor had reportedly been admitted due to age-related ailments, triggering a wave of online speculation that his condition had worsened. Rumours linking him to ventilator support and critical care began circulating rapidly, prompting his family to step forward and clarify the truth.
Dharmendra ji’s recent health scare had initially caused widespread concern, especially after reports suggested that the veteran actor was dealing with complications related to age.
Sources revealed that he had been admitted due to issues that required careful monitoring, including weakness and difficulty in mobility, conditions not uncommon for someone nearing 90.

The veteran star is preparing to celebrate his milestone 90th birthday on December 8, 2025. An occasion his family is reportedly planning to honour with an intimate yet meaningful celebration.
Family members, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol, were regularly seen visiting him during his hospital stay.
Hema Malini, ever devoted, also made frequent appearances to monitor his treatment and offer support.

Dharmendra ji was discharged on November 12 and is now recuperating comfortably at home, surrounded by his loved ones.
