MUMBAI: Filmmaker Tushar Hiranandani is on cloud nine after actor Rajkummar Rao won the Best Actor (Critics) award at the 69th Filmfare Awards for Srikanth. The director took to Instagram to share his joy, expressing pride over how every lead actor he has worked with so far has gone on to win a Filmfare award.
Sharing a heartfelt note, Tushar wrote:
“Not bad at all, done two feature n one show and feel so proud that all the four lead actors I worked with have won the Filmfare Award Best Actors — from @taapsee and @bhumipednekar in Saand Ki Aankh, @gagandevriar in Scam 2003 and now @rajkummar_rao in Srikanth. Thank u the one and only @nidhiparmarhira for always believing in me and supporting me… love u Raj bhai, Gagan bhai and my two sisters for life, Taapsee and Bhumi…”
Hiranandani’s emotional post reflected both pride and gratitude for the journey he’s shared with his actors and his producer-wife Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, who has been his constant collaborator and support system.
