In our exclusive interview with Divya Khossla, celebrating the success of her latest release, Savi, on both the big screen and Netflix, the actor opened up on dealing with trolls and even legit film critics right through her career, and why the success of her new film doesn't cultivate the need to silence them.
Divya Khossla said, “I think log humesha bolenge par hum aise apni life operate nahi kar sakte kyuki logo ki baatein sunte rahenge toh toh main ghar baithi rahungi. Main ghar bhi baithungli toh log bolenge ‘arey yeh aise kyu baithi hai, burkha pehen le’ toh unki baatein sunungli toh burkha pehen kar baithna padega but I think that’s no way to operate your life. Aap apni zindagi jee rahe ho apni dil ke baat sunn kar. Self-believe sab se zyada important hota hai toh bahar kisi ki baatein nahi sunti. Mere liye sab se zyada important hai my parents, jinka mere upar trust hai, jinka main trust kabhi life mein todungi nahi. Jis vishwas ke saath unhone mujhe life jeene ke liye aage bheja life mein ki main ek achi ladki rahungi, acha soul rahungi, ache karam karungi, apni spiritual karma pe dhyaan dungi, apne soul ki spiritual rise karungi, kisi ka dil nahi dukhaungi toh woh mere liye sabse important baat hai. And I think koi na koi kuch na kuch bolta rahega but it doesn’t matter. Jisko jo bolna hai bol lo.”
