Divya Kumar turns director with a youth orient movie called Yaariyan

Divya Khosla Kumar, wife of T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar is all set to make her foray into direction with her debut venture Yaariyan. The movie is a contemporary young film that takes audiences through the trials and tribulations of the best years of their life in youth. Divya, who left acting after marrying Bhushan Kumar, was so kicked up about her first venture that it is said that she personally looked into the talent workshops and left no stone unturned in ensuring that the youth-entertainer receives the production values it deserves. Says Divya, “Yaariyan is a complete commercial, youth oriented film that revolves around the lives of 5 college kids. We are launching new faces with this film. I ensure to give my audience freshness and new creativity, ideas on celluloid. The film will definitely take you back to your college days and leave you with a ‘feel good’ note. It’s a way I thank all my friends I have ever made since childhood who gave me beautiful memories to reminisce forever." The film was shot in different parts of India and South Africa. Yaariyan comes to a theater near you on 10 Jan 2014.
