Divya’s performance in the critically acclaimed film Savi earned widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike. Yet, she recently revealed in an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar why she did not secure a National Award for her work in the film.
“I don’t think the nomination process for the National Award was initiated for me,” she explained candidly. “I was completely unaware that entries had to be sent in for consideration. Either I was shooting or caught up with household responsibilities, or nobody informed me about the procedure. I realize now that one needs to be smart about these things, so unfortunately it didn’t happen.”
Despite missing out on the accolade, Divya’s fans are eagerly anticipating her new avatar in Ek Chatur Naar, which promises to showcase yet another dimension of her talent.
