MUMBAI: Hera Pheri is one of the most iconic Hindi comedy movies that no Hindi audience can ever miss out on. The movie was released in March, 2000 and the Priyadarshan directorial starred Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in main lead. It also featured Om Puri, Tabu, Gulshan Grover, Razak Khan, Asrani, Mukesh Khanna, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and many others, who contributed to this amazing comedy action movie.

The movie never fails to entertain and is a go-to choice for many Hindi movie lovers even today. Even today, the comedy feels so fresh that it lifts up our mood. Many fans have this opinion that no matter how many times they watch the movie, they always discover something new.

Talking about discovering something new, now there is a fan theory going around on social media which is getting attention. Before we present to you the theory it is important to note that the fan theory is just an idea given out for entertainment purposes and is not actually a ‘theory’.

Well, a fan has pointed to a scene from Hera Pheri where he tells Suniel Shetty about a door that should never be opened as it belonged to a drama company who did not pay rent. The fan has connected that scene with Bhagam Bhag, wherein the main characters were theatre artists.

Yes, the idea sounds good and possible but here’s when things go wild. It is pointed out by the fan that ‘Babu Bhaiya’, the character played by Paresh Rawal in Hera Pheri, is actually lying to Shyam, character played by Suniel Shetty in the same movie. That’s right! It is pointed out as a lie, claiming that it was Babu Bhaiya’s drama company itself but he and Champak (Akshay Kumar from Bhagam Bhag) had to change their identity because of all the fuss and live with new identities. This means, according to the fan, Bhagam Bhag is a prequel to Hera Pheri wherein even after changing their identities, the characters who then meet Shyam, get into a new life with a new bunch of troubles.

Well, surely the fan theory sounds really interesting and even though we know that it’s not true, it is something that we really wish was actually true and we get to see the story of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in between Bhagam Bhag and Hera Pheri. And would also like to know what happened to Govinda’s character.

Talking about Bhagam Bhag, it is once again a Priyadarshan movie starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Govinda, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan and Lara Dutta. It is a 2006 comedy movie which is one of the funniest Priyadarshan movies.
